Kaul vs Exxon

Exxon knew about climate change in the 1970s. And surprise, surprise, they’ve been lying about it ever since -- they’ve spent tens of millions of dollars over the past forty years funding a climate denial industry that keeps the public in the dark and pressures lawmakers not to fix the problem.

We’re talking about what could be the largest case of fraud in human history.

Now it’s time for newly elected Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul to step up. Attorneys General from New York and Massachusetts have been leading the effort to uncover what Exxon knew -- and it’s time for Kaul to join the fight.

Earlier this month, the U.S. Supreme Court rejected Exxon’s last-ditch appeals to keep their lies to the public private. Wisconsin needs to join New York and Massachusetts in investigating and holding Exxon accountable.

TELL WISCONSIN ATTORNEY GENERAL KAUL: INVESTIGATE EXXON AND ITS FELLOW FOSSIL-FUEL COMPANIES FOR DELIBERATE AND MALICIOUS CLIMATE DECEPTION.

This is the oil companies’ version of the tobacco executives lying about their being addictive. This is just as wrong as that was. The public deserves to have this investigated.

Last, separately, what are you doing about the onerous laws the Republican Assembly passed just before Walker left that took away the power under the guise of ‘balance’. What horse hockey that is. I think that should go to court before the time expires on change. It effects us ALL !

The GOP is encouraging this type of unstability to ruin our environment and save companies like Exxon from spending money on cleaning our world of devasting devasting chemicals. St
