Hillary Clinton: Reject Fossil Fuel Contributions

At a Hillary Clinton rally on March 31, the presidential candidate lost her patience with a young Greenpeace activist, who thanked Clinton for her commitment to climate change and then asked her whether she'll reject fossil-fuel money. Pointing her finger at the activist, Secretary Clinton said she was "so sick of the Sanders campaign lying about me."

In fact, she is the only Democratic candidate who has not signed the Fix Democracy pledge rejecting fossil-fuel money, and her campaign and super PACs have received millions of dollars from fossil-fuel lobbyists and investors. Watch:

Clinton can show strong climate leadership by taking a clear stand against the dirty fossil-fuel interests investing in climate destruction.

Fossil fuel is #1 cause of climate change . Fracking causes earthquakes cause it breaks up the tectonic plates , when they get broken they shift and move.

Coal , and oil must come to a complete stop if we want to change the environment issues . we must switch to renewables .

I cant trust you to act on climate , if you take money from special interests . How do I know you won’t say one thing and do another ?

Do, and be, the same person you claim; that’s integrity. It’s transmissable, and you catch it from people who have it.

It’s nice that you’re just now agreeing with most of Senator Sander’s platform, but I don’t believe it. If you get the nomination, you’ll revert back to supporting fracking. It’s toxic to people and to the environment in general and is adding tremendously to climate change. If you truly cared about the American people and the environment, you’d refuse all money from fossil-fuel sources. To do otherwise is wholly disingenuous.

Well since Hillary is not my candidate for the next President, I think we need to tell the Secretary to demand that she needs stop her campaign contributions that go into those fossil fuel companies because she’s not a green candidate & it’s not going to solve our climate crisis. This is why Bernie is trailing in the polls in New York, but if she wants to go further, I suggest that she needs to sign the Democracy Pledge & that she needs to stop Super PAC’s that contribute to fossil fuel lobbyists & contributors. I would that she she loses New York, but take my word, if she becomes the next Democratic nominee, then she must change her mind right now.
